Thanks for visiting. I'm glad you're interested in training; my name is Dane Brinkley.

For nearly two decades, I have worked in the mountains guiding hikers, climbers, and skiers. I'm lucky to have been able to work in the Cascades, Sierras, Rockies, and the Alaska Range.

Much of my guiding career centers on and around Mount Shasta (14,179'). I've worked for Shasta Mountain Guides, the leading guide service on the mountain, since 2005.

I'm also a certified personal trainer and strength & endurance coach. I've worked with recreational and professional athletes, including mountaineers, skiers, guides, rangers, and firefighters.

My time is spent training, coaching, guiding, ski-patrolling, and hanging with my little family. I spend most of the winter ski-guiding for Three Sisters Backcountry and ski patrolling at Hoodoo Ski Area in central Oregon.

I get the chance to work with quite a few climbers and skiers in the mountains, which continues to teach me about the needs of many mountain athletes.
